AREAS AFFECTED : SOUTH SLOPES OF THE WESTERN BROOKS RANGE; NOATAK VALLEY; LOWER KOBUK VALLEY; NORTHERN SEWARD PENINSULA; UPPER KOBUK VALLEYS

* WHAT...Snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 4 to 7 
inches. Winds gusting as high as 40 mph. 
 
* WHERE...South Slopes of the Western Brooks Range and Noatak 
Valley. 
 
* WHEN...Until 9 PM AKST Saturday. 
 
* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. Areas of blowing snow 
could significantly reduce visibility. Large snow drifts may 
develop. 
 
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Periods of Blizzard like conditions 
possible, but are not expected to long lasting.
